Peace of Mind

Don’t let them crush that bag down,
fight to the end with all you got.

My mom once told me:
By all means,
secure it,
don’t let them get near it,
wrap it in your chest,
secure it with both hands,
no matter how tiny,
never underestimate it’s power.

Just because they are close
to you
does not guarantee they’ll win.
You are a fighter,
your mom a warrior.
No amount of money
can buy it,
it’s priceless,
this real bag.
At all cost,
secure it.

  1. Reblogged this on A Long and Slow Walk (March) to Peace (Inner): A New Book (to be written) and commented:
“One cannot always tell what it is that keeps us shut in, confines us, seems to bury us, but still one feels certain barriers, certain gates, certain walls. is all this imagination, fantasy? ….”
